Trinasolar has delivered its first large-scale project in Lithuania: a 52 MW solar installation in Pakruojis, developed for ACME Solar Group in strategic partnership with ACC Distribution, part of Acme Grupė. This flagship site represents both a technical milestone and a landmark in our expansion across Northern and Eastern Europe.

The project features Trinasolar’s fully integrated solar solution, combining high-efficiency Vertex modules, the Vanguard 1P tracking system, and SuperTrack, our intelligent algorithm that dynamically adjusts panel angles to optimise energy production under varying weather conditions. This setup ensures consistently high performance and energy yield throughout the year.

The site’s high soil saturation and harsh weather posed design and safety challenges. We addressed these through a customised foundation design and the integration of environmental monitoring systems, including wind alarms and snow sensors, to safeguard long-term reliability and operational performance.

“This project is a major milestone for us in the Baltics and a testament to the strength of our partnership with ACC,” said Gonzalo de la Viña, President of Trinasolar Europe.

“Together, we’ve combined innovation, technical expertise, and a shared vision for a sustainable future. We’re proud to contribute to Lithuania’s energy transition and to support long-term regional growth through smart, reliable solar solutions.”
